Jill Tupper founded Global Warrior Powered by Love to help Ukrainians affected by the war, focusing on preventing PTSD through neuroscience-based training. After witnessing the devastating psychological impacts of the conflict, Tupper introduced this approach to first responders and community leaders in Ukraine. The organization helps people reset their nervous systems, bringing calm and resilience in the face of trauma. Tupper plans to return to Ukraine in November and is seeking volunteers to support the mission.

Jill Tupper, a Kansas City native, is urging support for the Ukrainian people still suffering from the trauma of war. After spending three months in Ukraine, she witnessed the emotional, psychological, and physical toll the conflict has taken. Tupper worked with both refugees and military personnel to help alleviate stress and anxiety caused by the war. She recently led a fundraiser for "Warriors Powered by Love" in Leawood, a grassroots effort to train others in providing similar support. Tupper emphasized the importance of addressing trauma alongside basic needs like food, water, and shelter, as unresolved trauma can lead to long-term psychological damage. Her goal is to train 1,000 people in Ukraine, who can then train others to continue the healing efforts. Each training session costs $500, and she aims to raise $500,000 to fund this initiative.
